Double-Ridge End Launch Adapter (Waveguide to Coax)

SMC offers a wide range of double-ridge waveguide-to-coax End Launch Adapters covering the waveguide sizes WRD180 thru WRD750. VSWR over the full waveguide bandwidth is typically 1.2:1 for most models, or that of the coaxial connector selected.

Partial band adapters are available upon request with better electrical characteristics and/or more compact size.
Different male or female coaxial connectors are available upon request (TNC, SC, K, N, 2.4 mm, 2.92, 3.5 mm, 1.85 mm).
Pressurized and TVAC units are available based on the client requirement.
*WRD250S/WRD600 are SMC special designed double-ridge waveguide structures that cover extremely wide band 3:1.
*WRD600P is an SMC special designed double-ridge waveguide structure with exceptional high power handling capability.
